  • Marietta Square

    Marietta Square is home to an array of restaurants that offer a diverse and delectable culinary experience. As you stroll along the charming streets, you’ll find restaurants housed in historic buildings, each with its own tale to tell.

  • Gone With the Wind Museum

    Brumby Hall transports you back in time. Nestled in the City of Marietta, the landmark dwelling is also the home of the Marietta Gone with the Wind Museum. The museum, built in 1851, has been a mainstay in Marietta since 2003, when it opened in the historic Old Thomas Warehouse Building near Marietta Square. With an extensive collection of memorabilia relating to the book and movie, you do not have to be a die-hard fan of Gone with the Wind to enjoy the vast history surrounding one of the world's most beloved books and movies. The book has stayed in bookshelves since 1936, and the film is the number one box-office movie of all time (when allowing for inflation).

  • The Battery

    Check out The Battery Atlanta for a fun and unique entertainment experience. It's not just a place to go on game days, as there are plenty of things to do there all year round.   • Georgia Aquarium

    Georgia Aquarium contains more than 70 amazing habitats, with thousands of marine animals such as whale sharks, manta rays, beluga whales, and more. Don’t miss out on the animal encounter programs, where you can get up close and personal with dolphins, penguins, and sea lions.   • Dobbins Air Reserve

    Located 16 miles northwest of Atlanta, Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta, Georgia, supports more than 5,700 personnel from the Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps. The base is home to the 94th Airlift Wing, the host unit, and tenant organizations including the 22nd Air Force headquarters, Navy Operational Support Center and the Georgia National Guard Headquarters.

    The population includes more than 2,000 Air Force Reservists and civilians assigned to the 94th AW and 22nd Air Force; and nearly 4,000 members of the Army, Navy and Marine Corps.

  • White Water Theme Park

    Six Flags White Water is a 70-acre water park located in Marietta, just off of I-75 and minutes from Downtown Atlanta. As part of the Six Flags family and the largest waterpark in the South, White Water draws thousands of visitors every year and has topped the list of best water parks in the country several times. With numerous water-themed rides, games and activities, this fun-filled amusement park is the ideal place for those seeking a way to cool down during the spring and summer.

  • Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield

    Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is a 2,965-acre National Battlefield that preserves a Civil War battleground of the Atlanta Campaign. Opposing forces maneuvered and fought here from June 19, 1864, until July 2, 1864. Although most famous as a Civil War battlefield, Kennesaw Mountain has a much richer story.

    The Battle of Kennesaw Mountain was one of the more significant clashes of the Atlanta Campaign. The stakes are incredibly high, with 'One Last Mountain' standing between William Sherman and Atlanta. Narrated by Emmy Award-winning Peter Coyote, "Kennesaw: One Last Mountain" uses authentic battle recreations and compelling accounts to bring to life one of the most dramatic stories of the Civil War. This cinematic masterpiece screens daily at the park's Visitor Center and is available for sale.
